• The Spens of Lathallan Feudal Barony is the Senior Line in the Clan Spens group of families.
• The Feudal Barony of Lathallan was confirmed in 1392.
• The seat of the family was at the Lathallan estate in the Parish of Kilconquhar in the County of Fife.  The ownership of Lathallan was first confirmed in 1431.
